Assisting Emmys

The 66th Emmy awards was all about the red,white and the blue. Stars such as Uzo Aduba ( Orange Is The New Black) Sophia Vergara( Modern Family ) & Keke Palmer (Just Keke) took my breathe away with mermaid styled gowns. I was ecstatic about this specific awards because i had the opportunity to assist freelance fashion stylist Weyni Elder with pulling looks for Adrienne Moore ( Orange Is The New Black ). After pulling looks from various showrooms and Pr agencies i am pleased to say "Yes To The Dress" weyni. Adrienne looked extremely gorgeous in a black Mac Duggal gown, Alysse Sterling clutch and jewelry by Jehri Cohen. I must say dressing someone for the Emmy's include long days and sleepless nights. You have to find that perfect dress thats not going to cause any form of wardrobe malfunction. It was a pleasure spending days with Adrienne such a welcoming personality. Not to mention all the laughs we had during the fittings. Its nothing like working with someone that shows nothing but gratitude. Oh how i cant wait for season three of Orange Is The New Black. Lets cross or fingers that this girl stays on board as the fashion assistant.
