Walking in to Kaelen Presentation I must say I felt like a kid in a Candy store- wanting everything I see. As I viewed every piece I said to myself wow a designer that Gets Me! Her mixture texture and styles was so creative and different which showed in one of the designs-dramatic pleated arms printed crepe shirt dress (Look 4). Many of the looks were styled with a sporty turtleneck made from a shiny black spandex-nylon or with contrasting windowpane check. The line was a perfect blend of silk ,stretch satin, cotton and wool. This collection was nothing but Dopeness!
Kaelen wanted to create a line that was easy to wear but still work back into the idea of dressing interesting. The floral print that she used in her collection was a print she fell In love with that appeared on dark wool fabric and shiny sliver lame'. She seeks to combine a traditional and innovative feel in which she explores masculine and feminine together while keeping it classic and modern . Creating unique pieces is what this designer is about.
Definitely a new and upcoming designer to watch out for !
