I Had the pleasure of attending Joseph Abboud Fall/Winter 2016 Runway Show Front Row. I must say I really enjoyed every bit of it. Joseph brought back excitement to American men's wear with an revolutionary feel. His collection intricately mingles the tradition of fine tailor with irreverence, intelligence, and innovation. With luxurious fabrics, fine crafted , bold patterns and rich palettes of greys, rust , olive greens, stormy blues, and ebony . The line also consisted of military detail, like substitute upturned cuffed, pieced lapels, and vintage buttons. He used textures of washed velvets and cashmere from Biella, distressed wools prints dyed in true ancient madder shades from Como and authentic Harris Tweeds from Scotland. The tailoring caressed the male physique while still allowing freedom and fluidity with broader shoulders ,nfitted waist, and flared coats, all which reminiscent of 60's silhouettes, but brought back a new attitude for 2016 men's wear. A Joseph Abboud man is for somebody that is confident, uniquely individual, and somebody so embraces their masculinity . Someone who loves to look sharp and very into detail. Most exciting about this line is all the garments was made right in the U.S.A . I would say Joseph Abboud brought back a new creative feel to menswear which much excitement. For this being his first time bringing back his collection to the runway in 15 years he sure did his thing. For all my men with style and grace this is a line you sure would want to check out.
