For those of you who bin asking me about how daisy is. Let me start by telling you she's not acting on tv that is her all day. I respect that lady because she has taught me some much in the past few months. It made me cry when she mention me in her justfab blogpost. I'm a cancer I'm very sensitive so I take everything to hard. I use to thing I was giving so many task to complete in what day because she didn't like me but in all actuality it was because she knew I can get it done. I can say now I'm a celebrity stylist because these days she let me take some control on her tv appearance wadrobe. Stay tuned I will be on next Sundays episode as well.
Blood,Sweat Dillinger
I have always wanted to be a fashion stylist. When I was younger I use to take my old clothes and cut them up to make clothes for my dolls. At one point I had a mc hammer doll I took his leather jacket from him and placed it over the shoulders of Barbie. I colored all my dolls hair, gave them piercings,Maincure and pedicures. After living in Atlanta for seven years I decided to move back to New York and follow my dreams. Even if it meant leaving some love ones behind. I also decided that I need to enroll back into school and get a degree for fashion styling and then fashion journalism. Before I could do so I started inquiring about intern positions. I reached out to someone who is sisters of a great friend of mine. Who so happened to be a fashion stylist. At that moment she wasn't looking for an intern but knew of someone who was. I got super excited because this was the first step for me to show my work to someone of some importance. I sent over my resume to Daisy Lewellyn and next thing I knew she asked if I could start the next week. No one in my family could understand why would I Be doing work for free. I had to break it down as good as I am there is always more that you can learn when it comes to this industry. The best way to become the best is to be around the best. I couldn't understand though why would this lady want me to wear all white on the first day of the job. I immediately called my hairstylist,I wanted a new look. I needed everything to be just right. I pulled together a quick ruffled white blouse from the gap and white denim H&M jeans out I my closet and paired it with leopard banana republic pumps to give my all white a little twist. How was I going to pull off all white when Mother Nature was intack. But what was I going to say or do. Tell Daisy I couldn't make it or I couldn't wear white. Absolutely not. Upon arrival to the location that was sent to me I couldn't help to notice a bunch of camera people going in and out of the restaraunt. I met up with my point person and she immediately started filling me in. Omg was the only thing I could say. I was going to be filmed on my first day interning with this lady. Thank god for having a great sense of style and for those of you who know me personally I'm always well dressed. And no I don't have to wear christian louboutin heels and three hundred dollar pants and shirts to look like a million bucks. You just need to have a great sense of style. Something Daisy always tells me. That's where most of you go wrong. Your just a label whore. You only look good because of the names your wearing. I buy things that look great no matter the price or the designer. Most of my outfits are premeditated as well. I just get these visions on how my hair, makeup and outfit should be each day. Anyway so I get right into my assignment. Staring with the seating arrangements and place cards. After every tasked I was assigned I jumped in and lend a helping hand to everyone else that was there. I move really quick. My friends say it's like I'm running when I'm walking. You gotta move fast. Get shit done. Period.
