Underground Artistry With Some Love & Hip Hop

The mood is set one of New York illest Dj is on the 1's & 2's Olivia Dope. When they say this industry is small you better believe them. I had the pleasure of working with Oliva for The cocktails with Claire of FashionBombdaily event a few months ago. Her style is impeccable & her mix brings you back to the 90's. Where music had substance.  She sports and all black ensemble which her purple shirt hair cut off sets. 

Pink carpet ready our host Vh1 Love & Hip Hop star Erica Mena has arrived. Celebrity Blogger & Media personality Rae holiday welcomes her with open arms. It's nothing but laughter on the pink carpet. The cameras are flashing and I'm making sure my Photgrapher is getting the best shots. This wasn't hard to do. The fact that Erica & Rae have such bubbly personality every shot was amazing. The lit up the room. 

Underground artistry is a good platform for emerging designers. The collections were breathe taking. My favorite collection was from nene le Shiro. He played with colors & texture. His white blazer looked like something that Judy Jetson would be wearing if she existed in our times. He is way ahead of his time. I can't wait to see what he does in the coming years. 

  

Nene blue scuba vinyl skirt had me longing for the spring that seems to never be coming to New York City. His turtle neck painted top was the icing on the cake. Details is major these days when it comes to fashion & Nene hit it right on the mark. Hello CFDA this guy needs to show during NYFW.
