September 4 was a different type of a night for me. I was invited to attend June Ambrose board walk empire fashion fete at the Houston. Now if you don't know this type of event is invite only. June was such a doll she was in love with my ensemble and my hair saying she wished she could go blond. I almost died but I had to keep it professional as always. I mean I look up to this women like no other. A amazing stylist and one of the best moms in the industry. The models were all dressed in their twenties inspired looks and I wish I could have went all out but because we had to cover the jones magazine party as well Which was held at the gold room. Daisy is featured in the magazine so make sure you go and pick up your copy. I caught Bevy Smith( fashion queens) and Michael k Williams on the dance floor and from the tweet I sent them in the voice of micheal " twerkin is for the grown and sexy". what a great night the cocktails and hors d'oeuvres what a delight. The funniest thing that happened to me that night i was catching the Bcbgmaxamaria show I ran into June again which by the way remembered me and asked me how I enjoyed the party and said we didn't have such a good time because we are up earlier at the Lincoln center. I told her I have to work no matter how much fun I had and then she said yes darling the show must go on.In the mist of everything my friend Brittany got a chance to speak with her. Junes daughter summer is such a delight and i expect that because she is being raised by a Beautiful women inside and out.I am on a rise to claiming my spot in this industry I belong.
