Xratedfusion Launch Tropix

It was spring in the fall at the editors event held at the riff raff for the launch of xratedfusion new flavor Tropix. Hello yellow would be hashtaged all night via social media spreading the news about this amazing new liqueur flavor Tropix. The event was hosted by style expert Daisy Lewellyn dressed in a yellow Asos dress,Ted Baker goat hair jacket,Adia Kabir necklace and Jean Michel Cazabat pumps. Daisy is known for being effortlessly sheek so project D.I.Y was created what a fun way to get all the editors involved.Some of the guess included Lala Anthony( Actress, Tv personality ) Melyssa Ford ( Former video vixen, real estate agent & tv personality) Raeholiday( Blogger, Creator of stuffypeoplelike.com) Claire Sulmers(Creater of Fashionbombdaily.com one of the largest fashion blogs) Po Johnson ( Lala full court life) Editors from essence magazine. Irene ( NYC based journalist and blogger for healtylatinfood.com) Julee Smalls ( editor at the huffingtonpost.com & black voices )etc....

The Dj set the mood for the night starting off with a little bit of a uptempo mix of Amerie.Three different types of Coctails were served Tropix Storm, Tiki Tini & Tropix Blast along with or'dervours

Oft favorite brands loreal and Godiva.During the past week me and Lauren got the honor to work alongside the pr girls to get everything ready for this event. It's now time for Daisy to give her toast which set the tone for the rest of the night.Lala stood side by side with daisy for the toast. Everyone applauds her And then glasses are raised. In the words of daisy d.i.y d.i.y d.i.y. Lala giggles then the room fills up with more laughter. It's now time for the editors to D.I.Y

Station 1: Coasters

Supplies: 2 arcrylic coaster sized, squares,yellow paper,4 screws, 4 stoppers, screwdriver

Directions:

1.Peel the brown paper off the two plastic squares

2. Choose your favorite yellow paper

3. Place the paper in between the pieces of plastic

4. Poke the screws through to secure the pieces together.

5. Use a screwdriver to tighten the pieces

6. Stick stoppers into the bottom

Station 2: Trays

Supplies: Laquer trays,Laminated paper, Double sides tape,Yellow ribbon,Siccors

Directions:

1. Choose your favorite paper

2. Size the paper to fit the inside of the tray

3. Laminate the paper to protect it from wear

4. Use double sides tape to stick the paper to the tray

5. Add yellow ribbon around the edges forlorn color.

Station 3: Necklace

Supplies: Yellow ribbon,Large yellow beads,Medium yellow beads,small yellow beads,6 black washers

Directions:

1. Choose a yellow or black ribbon

2. Thread one washer onto the ribbon, thread one large bead ontothe ribbon, then repeat until you have four washers and three large beads on your ribbon

3. Center the bead on the string

4. Thread a washer,medium bead, followed by another washer onto the ribbon

5. Thread the opposite end of the ribbon through the fourth bead and two washers so both end of the ribbon go through this part of the necklace

6. On both sides of the ribbon, thread one small bead followed by a washer

7. On both sides of the ribbon, thread one medium bead to finish

These beautiful yellow balls you see at station three did not come that way. These balls were originally wood. Me and Lauren spray painted each one yellow. We're talking 300 balls that had to be sprayed and dried and both sides. Five hours of spray paint madness. Have to say job well done I believe every editor walked out last night with their Tropix inspired necklace. I made sure that I had made one for myself because of how beautiful the necklace had came out. I'm now off to place the editors d.i.y"s in their gift bags.

.The recipe to make all the Coctails were also inside the bag as well as a xtropix lip balm.
